About John Grossman: Give to Welcoming America in 2025 -- Contribute to A World that is Kind and Inclusive!

A little over a year ago, I joined the Board of Welcoming America, a non-profit that works with local and state government to make our communities more welcoming to immigrants and refugees -- really, to everyone. This, it seems to me, is an expression of our identity as Americans. No less than President Reagan described his vision of our country as "a city on a hill . . . teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here."
